The question of performance has been prevalent in Lenka’s work for the last decade, more recently expanding beyond the stages of theatres and the exhibition hall into the broader realm of landscape and the environment. In her present project Lenka explores the performance of landscape through series of works - Conversations with Landscapes, where she views landscape on its own as performance, and strives to understand diverse interconnections of the environment and our own actions particularly as it relates to climate change.
